6", pink tepals with rose veining, golden yellow eye, and pale green throat. Broad, nearly round petals and pointed sepals are deeply ruffled. Wide, slightly recurved form. Large blooms on a small plant makes this one great for containers. Blooms in midsummer. Extended bloom--flowers last at least 16 hrs. each. Foliage is evergreen in most climates. Diploid. Ranks high in the AHS Popularity Poll, HM '90, AM '93, SSM (runner up) '96 & '97. Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
