There are many types of Veronica, (or Speedwell), ranging from prostrate to several feet tall. Flowers are borne on short to tall spikes, depending on the species. The tall forms bear slim, densely branched spikes of small white, blue, pink, or purple flowers in summer. Veronica is an excellent choice for perennial borders, rock gardens, cottage gardens and containers or combo planters.
