A Message From Our President & CEO

Dear valued customer,

Like many of you, we are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak globally and nationally, and the impact it is having on our local communities.

We recognize that this time of year is critical sowing-time for growers across the country as well as home gardeners and homesteaders alike to prepare for the season to come. It is our commitment to you that we will continue to remain open and operational, unless otherwise determined by local, state, or federal authorities.

Putting our employee and customer health first, we have put the following safety protocols in place in response to COVID-19:

We have a dedicated team monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and making necessary adjustments to our crisis plan as needed.

We have taken measures above and beyond our normal cleaning and disinfecting protocols regarding our facility and personal hygiene care.

We have implemented practices that foster social distancing such as granting employees remote work accommodations where applicable, limiting the number of employees in common spaces at our headquarters, and restricting company travel unless determined essential.

We have encouraged any employee who is feeling sick or a member of their household is sick to remain at home.

New policies (effective immediately) that may impact local customers within 50 miles of Rochester, NY:

At this time, we are no longer accepting orders to be picked up locally and will ship your parcel to you.

If you must come to our local building, we ask that you please call ahead so special arrangements can be made as will not be open to the public.

One thing we know for certain is the importance of farming and home-grown produce in a time of need like this. Our approach outlined above is how we intend to uphold our commitment to you and to continue to support our grower community like we always have for the past 141 years.

Wishing you and your families good health and fortune.
