Use as a substitute for Baby Beets. An ideal choice for the home garden as it matures early into a smooth, globe shaped, dark red root that can be harvested early for baby beets or it can be left in the garden to mature to full size. The roots are refined and have 12 to 13" semi-glossy, bright green tops that are delicious when cooked. Intermediate resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, cercospora and rhizoctonia. Tolerance to bolting.
