Rich, full tomato flavor and smooth texture made Caiman the winner of our summer taste test, and its large, smooth, oblate fruit display well at market. Harvest is simplified by the open habit of Caiman's medium sized indeterminate plants, and yield is strong. Plants set fruit well in heat and are adapted for both field and tunnel growing. Caiman's impressive disease package includes resistance to ToMV, V (1), F (1), and Leaf Mold (1-5), plus intermediate resistance to TSWV and root knot nematode. An excellent choice for both Northern and Southern organic growers.
