Café is a synergistic yellow that produces 8" ears with 14-16 rows of kernels that have an exceptional eating quality for such an early variety. The 5.75' plants are clean and hold their ears at 21" off the ground, making for an easy harvest. The ears are covered with a dark green husk and long flags. Café has good early season vigor and intermediate resistance to rust
(Rp1-d) and Stewart's wilt.
