Garlic Russian Red Organic
Russian Red is a member of the rocambole family of garlics, which tend to grow better in the cold winter climates. Russian red offers a strong garlic flavor and when eaten raw it can be described as being "hot" or spicy but once it is cooked it balances out the flavor. The clove wrappers are brown and purple and the bulb wrappers are purple. This varitey traditionally will provide 8-10 cloves per bulb.
