Mars is a release from the University of Arkansas, and recommended as a home garden grape. It is a vigorous, blue seedless grape that tolerates hot summers. Mars seedless grapes withstand Powdery Mildew and black rot! The flavor is similar to the Concord, and is mild and delicious for fresh eating. The berries are slipskin (having a tough skin that separates readily from the pulpy flesh) like other American grapes. Clusters are medium sized, cylindrical, and well filled. Space plants 8-10'apart. Self-pollinating. Mid-season harvest: August. Hardiness zones 5-8.
We require a minimum order per ship date for DeGroot products ($175) or for Garden Galleries products ($150). Orders not meeting the minimum will be charged a $25 processing fee.
