Frances Williams has huge, very wide, powdery blue-green leaves with chartreuse to yellow margins, which become wider as the plant matures. It has some of the showiest foliage ever, which is perhaps why it is a favorite among professional landscapers. The bold, rugged foliage seems nearly indestructible with a leathery, corrugated texture. It also demonstrates high slug resistance. It remains attractive well into late summer and has near white flowers on tall 30"scapes. Too much sun will cause leaf scorching. It is also good for planting in mixed containers or tubs.
