Forever Pink hydrangea features clusters of pink or blue florets (pink to blue, varying with soil) in large, rounded, 4-5" mopheads (macrophylla) which bloom in June, earlier than other varieties, for up to two months. The compact form and stiffer stems of this cultivar typically result in flowers remaining somewhat erect even when weighed down by rain drops. Add aluminum sulfate to soil to make flowers more blue or add lime to soil to make flowers more pink(add any such soil amendments to plant root zone in late autumn or early spring).
